Dr. Tony G. Reames is a leading, international energy and environmental justice scholar and government policy advisor. Dr. Reames is the Tishman Professor of Environmental Justice and an associate professor at the University of Michigan (UM) School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) where he founded the Urban Energy Justice Lab and the Energy Equity Project. Reames was appointed by President Joe Biden to serve at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Reames served in Office of Economic Impact and Diversity first as Senior Advisor on Energy Justice, then as Deputy Director for Energy Justice.
Reames holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration from University of Kansas, a Master of Engineering Management from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.
We'll also be joined by special musical guests Annie and Rod Capps.
